An Educational CD released by the Association of Lighting and Mercury Recyclers (ALMR), along with the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). This CD promotes recycling mercury-containing lamps and provides specific information about Federal and state-specific guidlines for their proper disposal.

ALMR Appoints New Board Member

Steve Barnett , President of Southeast Recycling Technologies, Inc. was elected to serve on the ALMR Board of Directors at the organization's annual meeting in April, 2010. Southeast Recycling is a lamp and electronic processor and recycler, operating from several locations throughout the Southern US. "Steve has been a technology innovator for the recycling of mercury lamps and for the reuse of the by-products from lamp processing", said Paul Abernathy, ALMR’s Executive Director.  The ALMR is very pleased to have him on the Board. Southeast Recycling has been an ALMR member for many years and Steve has served previous terms on the Board.
